Email to Promote a Johnson & Johnson Vision Survey

Johnson & Johnson Vision hired our agency to conduct a survey of young optometrists. This email was the first in a series that ultimately met JJV's goals. The open rate for this email was 75% and the clickthrough rate was 45% when paired with a September send date and subject line of: "Drink your first PSL of the year on us."

The first in a series of five, this email is designed to build interest among corporate optometrists for a Johnson & Johnson Vision event called "Managing Your Retail Practice." The open rate was 39.81% and the clickthrough rate was 16%.

Eyes On Eyecare Managing Your Retail Practice was targeted to corporate optometrists. I created a story arc for the campaign as well as copy for five emails designed to maximize registration. The open rate was more than 25% and the clickthrough rate was more than 18%.

With the goal to build qualified leads, we showcased our organization's unique capability to reach busy optometrists and ophthalmologists. With a subject line and matching headline of "10 proven ways to market to ODs," this email had an open rate of more than 25%, a clickthrough rate of 18%, and two leads within the first day with whom our sales team could start a conversation.

National Vision offers $12,500 in scholarship money for third- and fourth-year optometry students. With a December send, subject line of "Treat Yos'elf with a $7,500 scholarship" and headline of "Jingle all the way to the bank," this email had a 32% open rate and a 16% clickthrough rate.
